Education credit at a glance
Skills & Education is the only externally guaranteed programme for education businesses. To benefit from it, you must have a business that is registered and operating in Romania in the field of education: school, kindergarten, university or company that provides training to employees.
In partnership with the European Investment Fund, we offer you up to 2 million euros or 9.7 million lei, which you can use for investment or working capital, regardless of the form of organisation.
Good to know
- 80% of the loan is guaranteed by the EIF which means zero guarantees for revolving credit lines or medium-term loans
- credit facilities in RON and EUR - maximum 2 million euros or 9.7 million lei per client
- BT additional guarantees: no material guarantees or maximum 30% of the credit, depending on the type of loan
- the credit line can be granted for 24 months, with the possibility of extension up to 8 years from the signing of the contract
The transactions guaranteed by this programme benefit from the guarantee of the European Investment Fund and the European Investment Bank.

What documents do you need?
- Last two annual balance sheets together with related balance sheets and receipts
- Last completed quarterly trial balance
- Tax attestation certificate
- Legal-constitutive approval regarding the contracting of the loan
- Documents for the proposed collateral, if the loan is secured by collateral
