Types of funding

Investment loan: is sized according to the investment and the repayment capacity
Bridging loan: ensures the start-up and implementation of the investment until you receive the grant. It is granted in lei or in euro, for a period correlated to the period of execution of the project and the disbursement of the grant.
Letter of bank guarantee (pre-financing or advance): ensures the start-up and implementation of the investment until you receive the grant. It is granted for a period correlated to the period of execution of the project and disbursement of the grant.
Comfort letter: it is required by the Managing Authority when you submit your application for funding or within a certain deadline from the date of notification for project approval. It helps you to prove the capacity of the company and the source of co-financing for the project.
Working capital loan: is intended to support the company's current activity, following the investment made.

When can you make your first expenses?

After signing the contract with the Managing Authority or after obtaining the agreement of the Managing Authority. In some cases, failure to do so may block the grant.

What do you need to know about project implementation?

There is always a performance risk in implementing a project. The more information you have about the procurement procedures involved and the preparation of payment documentation, the safer the whole process will be.

Is there a risk of termination of the contract with the Managing Authority?

Yes, if discrepancies are found between what is declared in the grant application and the proven facts or if the provisions of the contract are not respected. In such cases, you will be obliged to reimburse all or part of the amounts received.
