You can apply for a Star Forte shopping card quickly and easily, 100% online, in BT Pay or by visiting a BT branch.
Online (recommended for short approval times): Fill out the form on the bancatransilvania.ro website. The process is digital, and the necessary documents are obtained automatically through interconnection with ANAF, shortening the waiting time.
At BT: We look forward to seeing you at any Banca Transilvania branch, where a consultant will assist you with the application process.
The minimum income required to apply for a Star Card shopping card is:
- Star Forte: 800 lei
- Star Gold: 4,000 lei
- Star Platinum: 12,000 lei
Income refers to income from salaries, pensions, or other accepted sources. The bank will analyze your eligibility based on your current income and expenses, in accordance with NBR regulations.
To apply for a Star BT credit card, you need the following documents:
- Identity card
- ANAF agreement - showing your monthly income, which you must sign.
- Special categories may also require a pay slip - but our colleagues will guide you. 🤗
To benefit from interest-free installments, all you have to do is mention in the physical locations of the partner stores that you want to pay in installments or online by selecting the payment solution specified on each Star partner's page.
Of course, for every payment you make abroad, you get 0.1% points of the purchase value. ✨
Yes, it is possible to withdraw money from your Star BT shopping card, but it's important to bear in mind fees applicable. You can find them on the BT website, in the Star Card Comparator section.
The Star BT card is mainly designed for purchases and installment payments, but it also offers the flexibility to withdraw cash, at the costs mentioned above. You have a 55-day grace period for both card purchases and cash withdrawals.
