StartingJanuary 1, 2023, earnings obtained by individual investors from investments in open-ended investment funds will be taxed through withholding at source, as follows:
- by levying a 1% levy on each gain on the transfer of securities which have been acquired and disposed of during a period of more than 365 days, inclusive, after the date of acquisition
- by levying a 3% levy on each gain on the transfer of securities which have been acquired and disposed of within a period of less than 365 days from the date of acquisition
