Banca Transilvania recommends OTP Bank Romania customers - both individuals and legal entities - to be as proactive as possible in terms of taking the BT cards issued to them, given that the integration of OTP Bank into BT is in the home straight, with the merger of the two banks taking place in a month's time, on February 28.

Two other recommendations of the bank refer to the activation of the cards, immediately after the takeover, at one of Banca Transilvania's ATMs, as well as to the downloading of the BT Pay application by individual customers.

The distribution of more than 320,000 BT cards started in December 2024.

Customers can pick up the card at the branch of Banca Transilvania or OTP Bank to which it was sent, where they can also book online on the BT website.

How to find out which OTP Bank branch OTP Bank customers need to go to to pick up the card:

• From the information received by courier/email;
• Through Banca Transilvania website;

• From Banca Transilvania and OTP Bank Romania.

Cards issued by Banca Transilvania can be used from March 2, 2025.
