  • When will I no longer be able to use NeoBT and BT24?

    As of November 24, 2025, access to the Neo BT platform will be restricted and replaced by BT Pay Web. Access to BT24 will be gradually restricted on December 2, 3 and 4. After these dates, BT Pay will be the only option for internet and mobile banking for individuals.

    How can I access my accounts on my desktop/computer starting November 24, when access to BT24/NeoBT Web will be blocked?

    Starting November 24, 2025, your accounts will be accessible through the new web platform: BT Pay Web.

    How do I log into BT Pay Web if I have a token?

    BT Pay Web is not provided with TOKEN login and authorization, it can be used only by authentication with SMS OTP received on the phone number declared in the relationship with the bank. Please go to any BT branch, where colleagues will help you to change the authentication method.

    How to access BT Pay Web?

    BT Pay Web will be accessible from November 24, 2025 as follows:

    - From the Banca Transilvania website, Internet Banking section

    - Direct URL: btpay.bancatransilvania.ro

    - If you previously owned Neo Web and access the link for it from November 24, you will be automatically directed to BT Pay Web

    - If you previously owned BT24 Web and access the BT24 Web link, you will be told that BT24 is no longer available after entering your login details, and when you click the 'Access BT Pay' button you will be automatically directed to BT Pay Web.

    What credentials can I use to log in to BT Pay Web?

    If you are part of the tranche of customers notified on September 22, 2025 of the closure of BT24/Neo BT from November 24, 2025, depending on the applications you previously owned and activity in, you can log in to BT Pay Web using the following credentials:

    - You only owned Neo BT: Neo BT credentials

    - You only held BT24: BT24 credentials

    - You owned BT24&Neo BT and used both platforms: Neo BT credentials

    - You owned BT24&Neo and were only active in Neo: Neo BT credentials

    - You owned BT24&Neo and were only active in BT24: BT24 credentials

    What do I do if I can't remember my BT24/Neo BT password?

    If you have previously owned BT24, a password reset can be requested at any BT branch.

    If you have previously owned Neo BT, you can request a password reset directly from BT Pay Web by going to the 'Forgot my password' button and following the steps to identify yourself. Password resets can also be requested at any BT branch.

    How can I activate a desktop/computer version of BT Pay if I've never owned a web version before?

    Starting November 24, 2025, BT Pay Web will become the only web platform available to individuals. If you would like to activate it, we're waiting for you at any BT branch.

    How can I remove a proxy's rights from BT Pay mobile and web?

    For BT Pay Mobile:

    From the left-hand side of the app, go to the main menu, go to 'Profile and account settings', then 'Manage proxies', select the proxy and disable the BT Pay rights by unchecking the 'Access in BT Pay' option.

    Please note: Deleting the rights for the proxy as described above will only be done from BT Pay mobile. If the processor also has Web Entitlements, you must request the deletion of these Entitlements at any BT location.

    For BT Pay Web:

    The deletion of rights for the processor can only be done from the BT unit.

     

    What happens to the scheduled payments I had set up in BT24?

    Scheduled payments set up in BT24 will not be transferred to BT Pay. To recreate these scheduled payments in BT Pay, you can follow the steps below:

    Through the BT Pay mobile app:

    • Access the Accounts menu in the application.
    • Select New Payment and enter the beneficiary's details (IBAN and name).
    • Enter the amount and choose the desired recurrence: once, weekly, monthly, or bimonthly.
    • Add a description and confirm the payment.
    • The recurring payment will appear in the Accounts → Recurring Payments menu.


    Through the BT Pay Web platform:

    • Select the Payments area
    • Initiate a new payment
    • Select the desired recurrence
    • Complete the operation

  • I forgot my ID/password in NeoBT/BT24 and cannot activate BT Go. What should I do?

    Don't worry, it happens!
    We have several simple solutions you can use to recover your access:

    For NeoBT:

    1. Go to Ino for NEO and follow the steps.
    2. Check the document in your email or the physical document you received when you activated the service - that's where you'll find your login ID.
    3. Visit any BT establishment with a valid ID.
    4. Call us on 0264 303 333 and we'll be happy to help.

    For BT24: 

    1. If you can't remember your login ID, you can check it in the BT24 app (go to Home -> Quick options -> My BT24 login ID) or in the document in the email or document you received when you activated the service - it doesn't change.
    2. If you've forgotten your password, go here to reset your BT Go password
    3. Visit any BT establishment with a valid ID.
    4. Call us on 0264 303 333 and we'll be happy to help.


    Important: We are in the process of migrating to BT Go, so we recommend that you recover your credentials as soon as possible to avoid disruption to your day-to-day business.

    What can I do in BT Go?

    In addition to the standard operations that you do from the app - payments, currency exchange, viewing transactions - we've also added business functionalities such as:

    • You issue, pay and receive invoices which are automatically sent to the tax authorities.
    • Automatic association (auto reconciliation) of receipts and payments with invoices issued and received.
    • Issue business cards for yourself or your company's employees.
    • You have access to complete credit information and can generate repayment graphs.
    • Generate daily or monthly statements on each account and have the ability to bulk download monthly statements for all accounts.
    • All invoices and associated bank transactions are automatically recorded in the SAGA accounting program.
    • Sell, buy and view BTAM investments.
    When will I no longer be able to use the BT24/NeoBT app?

    The process to stop using BT24/NeoBT is a step-by-step process, don't worry, you will be notified in advance, in the meantime we recommend you to download the app/start using it to familiarize yourself with all its features.

    How do I activate my BT Go as a BT24/NeoBT user?

    To access BT Go you will need the ID and password you now use in BT24/NeoBT. 

    If you change your password in BT24, you'll be able to use the new password in BT Go, or vice versa.

    How far in advance will I know that I no longer have access to BT24/NeoBT?

    You will receive the first information before 30 days before you stop access to BT24/NeoBT. Throughout the period until you terminate access, you will receive recurring migration notifications.

    What do I do if I forgot my BT24 password after I no longer have access to the app?

    If you've forgotten your BT24 credentials and can't log in to BT Go, there are several ways to resolve the situation: If you don't remember your login ID, you can check the document in your email or the document you received when you activated the service - it doesn't change. If you know your log in ID but have forgotten your password, request a new password at any BT branch.

    I haven't received the BT Go web login notification on my mobile. What can I do?

    Check your internet connection and mobile network signal. If these are within optimal parameters, please restart the login process.

    Do I have to come into the establishment to switch from BT24 to BT Go?

    No, you can do everything online. See the activation steps here: https://go.bancatransilvania.ro/activare

    How do I activate my BT Go if I am not a BT24/NeoBT user?

    The details required to access the BT Go application are: the login ID and password you received when you activated Internet Banking. If you have not activated the Internet Banking option for your company account, we are waiting for you in any BT branch.

    To activate BT Go on the web, you need Google Chrome (min. version 68) and a smartphone.

    The steps to follow are: 

    1. Enter the login ID and password you received by email when you opened your account 
    2. Generate the QR code (the QR code is automatically generated and scanned after downloading the app) 
    3. Download the BT Go app (from the App Store - if you have iOS or from Google Play/Magazine Play - if you have Android) 
    4. Scan the QR code with your mobile phone by pressing the "Scan QR code" button 
    5. Choose a new password 
    6. Enter the security code you received 
    7. Browse the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions 
    8. After the success message is displayed on both the mobile app and the web platform, you can set your in-app authentication mode (touch/face ID) based on the biometrics of the phone you are using. 

    For each login on the web platform you will need the app activated on your mobile phone. To activate the BT Go app using your smartphone only, follow the steps below: 

    1. Download the BT Go app from the App Store if you have iOS or Google Play/Magazin Play if you have Android 
    2. Enter the login ID and password you received by email when you opened your account 
    3. Enter the security code you received 
    4. Browse the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions 
    5. Set your PIN code 
    6. After the success message is displayed, you can set your authentication mode in the app (touch/face ID), depending on the biometrics of the phone you are using
