If you have a credit card at Idea::Bank, it will be replaced with one of the BT shopping cards that fits better, namely STAR Forte or STAR Gold. With the STAR card you have no commission when shopping in the country or abroad, and the grace period is up to 55 days for both shopping and cash pickups.

Welcome offer, regardless of the credit card you have at Idea::Bank:

An additional month of grace, so you have no obligation to pay in June 2022;
The STAR BT program, which brings you STAR loyalty points at each card purchase or the possibility of paying in installments at a large number of merchants;
50 STAR Points welcome (1 STAR point = 1 leu) if you take possession of the BT card by June 15, 2022, which you can use at other merchants;
10 STAR Points on your first purchase with your BT credit card.

The first meeting with the BT card

Where do you get your card from? From the BT agency indicated in the information received from us either by email or post. If you do not have the information at hand, you can find it from the BT Call Center team, 0800 800 881, +40 264 308 014, ideaBT@btrl.ro.

How to activate your card

With the card you will receive by SMS a unique code, which you need to activate the card at any of the BT ATMs.
Regardless of the day you activate your BT card, it can be used from June 14 this year.

What should we do every month? Turnover

Starting in July, between the 1st and the 25th of each month, you must put on the card at least 10% of the credit used at the end of the previous month. That is, "you have to do the rollover". The amounts can be used immediately for any kind of card transactions.

Recommendation

Use BT Pay for everyday banking. Once you activate your card, sign it up for free in the app, which you can download for free from the Google Play Store, App Store or Huawei AppGallery. Thus, you have both a physical card and a digital card. In the app you can see the IBAN, how much money you have in your account, the monthly amounts to pay for your credit card, the STAR points you have accumulated – and much more.
