Banca Transilvania S.A. (hereinafter also referred to as "the bank", "BT", "we", "us") hereby informs you of how it intends to process your data for the purposes of online booking in BT branches.

In order to make the bank's work more efficient by preventing overcrowding in its branches, BT gives people the possibility to schedule their future banking transactions online at the bank's counters. If you use this form of appointment, BT will process personal data about you: your name, surname, contact details (e-mail address and/or telephone number), date and time of appointment, the BT branch where you have chosen to make your appointment, the type of banking operation for which you have made your appointment. If you do not wish to provide these details, you will not be able to make your appointment online, but you can come directly to the unit (in the unit, scheduled customers have priority at the times for which the appointment is made). Also, if for appointments for entities such as P.F.A., I.I., individual forms of self-employed persons (e.g. If you decide to fill in their identification data (e.g. name, CUI), please note that this information is subject to the personal data regime. You are not obliged to provide this entity information in order to complete the appointment. If you choose to fill in the CUI of such an entity, you consent to it being used to verify the entity's status in the bank's records and in public records, in preparation for a personalised discussion in the unit.
On the basis of this personal data, no decisions are taken against you by automated means. Your personal data related to your appointment in BT units will be deleted within a maximum of 10 days from the date for which you made the appointment.
In order to be able to offer you the online appointment service in BT's branches, we are supported by contractual partners who act on your personal data related to the appointment in the bank's branches only under BT's instructions, established by personal data processing agreements, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
As a rule, your data is not transmitted outside the European Union. To the extent that, for the provision of these online programming services, our contractual partners, who in turn use providers of various services (e.g. SMS/email sending), are required to transmit your data to third countries, this transfer will only take place in compliance with the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
