Yes, cards from Ukraine can be used in Romania within the limit, at the fees and rates imposed by the issuing bank and the Central Bank of Ukraine. BT does not charge any fees.

Where can I receive/send money if I don't have an account with BT?
Through Western Union. The money received can be raised from BT.

Where can I change the money I came to Romania with?
At BT we do not change the Ukrainian hryvnia/hryvnia (UAH). BT never realized this service, and now we are looking for solutions.

How can I make transactions from my BT account?
You can make cash withdrawals or Visa Classic card payments at any ATM or merchant in the country/abroad, including online payments.
You can do other operations in any of the BT units. Here you can see which branch is closest to you, and don't forget to book online to get priority.
For certain operations, the bank may request additional documents.
Banking with BT
Current account in lei for individuals: based on Ukrainian passport/identity card, accompanied by a certified translation, only if written in Cyrillic characters. 0 fee for opening and administration.
BT Visa Classic debit card, in lei:
- It can be used in Romania and other countries;
- 0 fee for issuing, managing and withdrawing money from Banca Transilvania ATMs;
- The card will be picked up from BT.
Euro or dollar current account: 10 lei opening fee and 0 administration fee.
