    Terms and conditions for resetting PIN card - BT24

    Definitions:

    Activation code:

    It is a 4-digit personal identification code, assigned by the bank to the card issued on the name of the holder / user, strictly confidential and which is transmitted by the bank to the card holder / user via SMS on a number in the mobile network in Romania.


    Pin:

    1. Purpose: To obtain the activation code necessary to change the PIN code of the card at any ATM issued by Banca Transilvania.


    2. Fees and fees: The Bank will charge the beneficiary by using this service according to the grid of fees and fees in force, a fixed cost that will be displayed in the application before signing the transaction and will be debited from the card account immediately after the confirmation of the operation.


    3. Liability of the parties:
    By signing the transaction, the beneficiary:

    • agrees with, the commission for obtaining the activation code required to change the PIN code.
    • mandates Banca Transilvania to send an activation code for its card.
    • it has the obligation to correctly enter its identification data, i.e. the telephone number to which it wishes to send the activation code.
    • assumes responsibility for the accuracy of the identification data provided to the bank and for the existence of sufficient funds in the account for the retention of the reissue fee. If the activation code reissue operation cannot be executed due to the beneficiary's fault (the phone number entered is incorrect), the beneficiary will still owe the reissue fee.


    The bank assumes no liability for the correctness of the data entered by the beneficiary.


    4. Communications: All notifications and correspondence between the parties are made by the means provided in the General Business Codes.
