How do you get STAR points?

You pay with the STAR card when shopping, choosing the physical stores*, your favorite.

STAR partner stores

You get up to 15% of the value of your purchases when you pay exclusively via BT POS.

Non-partner stores

You have 0.3% of the value of your purchases in Romania and 0.1% of the value of your purchases abroad.

How do you use STAR points?

Use your STAR points in partner shops by paying at a BT POS. To do this, before the actual payment, specify that you want to use STAR points. Discover below the list of shops that accept payment with points.

Example in case of reimbursement by instalments

Let's say you have a STAR card with a credit line of 3000 lei.

You want to renovate your apartment and buy building materials and furnishings from a STAR partner store.

You pay 1800 lei in 5 installments (of 360 lei) without interest, on May 15 and you stay on the card with 1200 lei.

How NOT to pay interest

In order not to pay interest, make sure you have deposited the installment by the 25th of each month. If you do not deposit the full installment, you are obliged to deposit 10% of the amount spent and you will be calculated the interest rate of 24%. Everything you submit, you can immediately use it for other purchases.

Example in the case of full payments

You have a STAR shopping card with a credit line of 3000 lei

You buy on May 15th products worth 500 lei that you pay in full.

How NOT to pay interest

In order not to pay interest, you must deposit the full amount you used by the 25th of the following month. If you deposit after the 25th of the following month, you will be calculated interest of 24%.
