    "From the Bank to the Bank - the first steps towards discovering your career" is a project co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) through the Education and Employment Program 2021-2027 (EEP). The priority is to increase the quality of the vocational education and training offer in order to ensure the equity of the system and a better adaptation to the dynamics of the labor market and the challenges of innovation and technological progress. 

    The specific objective is to improve the quality, inclusiveness, effectiveness and labour market relevance of education and training systems, including by validating non-formal and informal learning and promoting the introduction of dual training and apprenticeship schemes (ESF+). The aim is to support the acquisition of key competences, including entrepreneurial and digital competences

    The project implementation period is November 1, 2024 - October 31, 2026.

    The total value of the project is 4.929.602,00 RON and the EU co-financing amount is 4.683.120,20 RON.

    The overall objective of the project is to increase the relevance of the professional trainingof 400 students by organizing 400internships within Banca Transilvania. 

    • We aim to improve entrepreneurial skills and adapt skills and qualifications related to environment, climate, energy, circular economy and bioeconomy. We aim to develop anentrepreneurship skills development programover 24 months for the acquisition of skills required by sectors related to climate transition for 400 students.
    • We aim to improve the relevance of vocational training for a number of 400 students, through participation inpractical training internships witheconomic agents and for occupations related to their field of training, intervention materialized over 24 months.
    • Developing the level of motivation and involvement in work-based learning activities through innovation and creativity for 400 trainees, by grantingallowancesfor participation ininternships and organizingprofessionalcompetitions, finalized with prizes, intervention materialized over 24 months.
    • Improved the qualification level of 241 trainees by successfully completing thetraineeships, an intervention materialized over 24 months.
    • Raising awareness on the correlation between training needs and labor market needs, by carrying out an analysis in order toanticipatehorizontal needs for the development of educational offer, intervention materialized over 24 months.

    How can you be part of our story?

    • You are aged between 18 and 35 at the date of entry;
    • You must be enrolled in an accredited higher education institution (public or private) in an ISCED 6-8 program;
    • You must be legally domiciled in Romania, in one of the less developed regions - Centru, Sud-Est, Sud-Muntenia, Sud-Vest Oltenia, Nord-Est, Nord-Vest, Vest;
    • It must not have been included in the target group of another project co-financed by the EOP 2021-2027.

    How will the project work?

    The internships will last 90 hours, spread over 15 working days and will take place in Banca Transilvania branches and agencies. The duration of the internships will be adapted according to the program of each partner university.

    You will develop both personally and professionally through a special course designed to improve your entrepreneurial skills. You will learn about super important topics such as environmental protection, climate change and the circular economy. Then you'll get hands-on experience at Banca Transilvania, one of the largest banks in Romania. 

    In addition, at the end of your internship you will receive a net allowance of 540 lei (the amount may vary depending on the number of hours of internship provided in the program of each partner university) and you have the chance to win prizes of 2,000 lei (gross) in a professional competition.

    The project is aligned with the European Union's priorities on the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights which aims to develop a fairer and more inclusive Union. In addition, they aim at improving the quality and relevance of education for the labor market, promoting digital and entrepreneurial skills and integrating dual training programs.
