BT Ultra Web is an application offered by Banca Transilvania, S.A., a credit institution established in Romania, with registered office in Cluj-Napoca, Calea Dorobantilor 30-36, Cluj county, registered at the Trade Register under no. J12/4155/1993, unique code RO 5022670. The Terms and Conditions for the Client (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") constitute a legal contract concluded between Banca Transilvania S.A. and you ("the Client").
We recommend that you read these Terms in full before deciding whether to accept them and proceed with the registration process.
If you do not agree with any of the terms within the BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications, please do not access, browse or use the applications, or the software, services, information, materials or other such contained within the application.
The terms and conditions of use of the BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications, as set forth herein, are and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Romanian law.
The terms set out how you can use the BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications.
The Terms are complemented by the General Terms and Conditions of Business of Banca Transilvania applicable to Individuals and Legal Entities.
If at any time after registering with the BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications you decide that you no longer agree to these Terms, please uninstall the application. At the same time, if you no longer agree with the use of your personal data by the Banca Transilvania operator as a result of using the application, you may delete your account and exercise your right of objection provided for by the applicable legal regulations in force, by sending a notification to this effect to the e-mail address dpo@bancatransilvania.ro.
The customer is obliged to have the latest licensed versions of the operating programs/operating systems and anti-virus programs, as well as software for the protection of electronic equipment (anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, etc.) installed on the electronic equipment he uses in order to use BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications.
The user is also obliged not to download software from unidentified/unlicensed sources or unlicensed software/applications to the electronic equipment used, and bears full responsibility in this regard.
The Bank has no responsibility for any hardware/software equipment used by the customer/user, as such equipment is beyond the Bank's control.
The Bank is not responsible for the failure of BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications to function properly due to equipment/software etc. used by the user. At the same time, the User declares and understands that in the transmission of information via computer networks there is a risk of phishing attacks, whereby third parties attempt to illegally obtain information on the User's authentication data, access the User's information and/or destroy/modify the content of orders transmitted online by the User.
By using BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile, the customer assumes the risks of phishing attacks targeting him/her and the users he/she has authorized to access the application.
The Bank shall not be liable for the non-functioning/malfunctioning of the application due to reasons related to the functioning of the user's electronic equipment through which the BT Ultra Web and BT Ultra Mobile applications are accessed.
What is BT Ultra Web?
BT Ultra Web is an Internet Banking application that allows current banking transactions to be carried out using an Internet browser, which together with a token device or mobile application provides secure access to the application.
The range of operations includes:
- View and print statements and transactions;
- Entering payment orders in lei and foreign currency;
- Conducting foreign exchange and cross-currency swaps.
What is BT Ultra Mobile?
BT Ultra Mobile is a secure mobile application, accessible via mobile phone with an Internet connection, where users can do the following:
- Viewing account statements;
- View transactions;
- Balance view;
- Authorize transactions initiated from related applications
(BT Ultra, BT Ultra Web, BT Ultra ERP).
The app can be used on iOS and Android operating systems and needs to be installed from dedicated online stores (Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS).
The user is entirely responsible for paying any access or data charges imposed by third parties (such as charges imposed by the internet or mobile provider) associated with the use of the BT Ultra application.
Activation of the BT Ultra Mobile app can only be done from the BT Ultra Web app and in conjunction with BT Sign.
What types of personal data do we process within the application, what permissions do we request and for what purposes?
Using the BT Ultra Mobile app may require location access permission (GPS). This permission is required to access the "Locations" menu, which allows the customer to view the nearest Banca Transilvania branches and ATMs. Granting this access is optional and does not prevent the use of the other functions of the application.
Banca Transilvania is not liable for any unauthorized, abusive or illegal use of the phone on which the BT Ultra Mobile application is installed. By downloading and using the application, the user assumes sole responsibility for access by unauthorised persons to his/her personal data processed within the application, as referred to in this section.
Confidentiality of access data
You must keep your identification data secure and not allow anyone to access it.
By accepting these Terms, the User assumes responsibility for the disclosure of his/her identification data to other persons, including as a result of "phishing" attempts, which constitutes gross negligence on the part of the User. The User must inform the Bank as soon as he/she becomes aware that an unauthorised person has become aware of his/her identification details (including where access data has been disclosed to third parties as a result of phishing attempts).
The user is obliged to notify the bank if the mobile device on which the BT Ultra Mobile app is installed is no longer in his/her possession.
Block/disable access
The Bank has the right to block the Customer's access to the BT Ultra Mobile application when it has reasonable suspicion that the Customer's identifiers/access to the application are being used by unauthorised persons and/or in a fraudulent manner (including in the case of suspected fraud through phishing attacks).
The customer can request the deactivation of the mobile banking option, BT Ultra Mobile, from any Banca Transilvania unit, at least 30 days prior to the requested date for restricting his access directly from the BT Ultra Web application in the secure messaging. The customer may waive this service only upon prior fulfilment of the obligation to pay in full the debts registered with the bank.
