Banca Transilvania announces some changes regarding cash operations in foreign currency, valid from 4 December 2023.

Operations for which there are changes:

• Payments, withdrawals and currency exchange in Czech koruna (CZK) and Polish zloty (PLN) can only be made in BT branches, not in agents.
• Payments, withdrawals and foreign exchange in Moldovan Lei (MLD) can only be made in BT branches in Bucharest North, Bucharest West, Bucharest East, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Suceava and Botoșani.
• Cash transactions in Australian Dollar (AUD) and Japanese Yen (JPY) currencies will no longer be available on the BT network.

Operations that will remain the same:

• Payments, receipts and currency exchanges in euro (EUR), US dollars (USD), pounds sterling (GBP), Swiss francs (CHF), Hungarian forints (HUF) and Canadian dollars (CAD) will be possible as before in all BT branches.
• All account transactions remain unchanged, regardless of the currencies held by customers.

Customers have the option to book directly from the BT website to get priority for these services.
