A few changes regarding foreign currency cash transactions on the BT network

Banca Transilvania announces some changes regarding cash operations in foreign currency, valid from 4 December 2023.

Operations for which there are changes:

• Payments, receipts and foreign exchange in Czech koruna (CZK) and Polish zloty (PLN), respectively payments in Danish krone (DKK), Norwegian krone (NOK) and Swedish krona (SEK) can only be made in BT branches, not in agencies.
• Payments, receipts and currency exchanges in Moldovan lei (MLD) can only be made in BT branches in Bucharest North, Bucharest West, Bucharest East, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Suceava and Botosani.
• Cash transactions in Australian Dollar (AUD) and Japanese Yen (JPY) currencies will no longer be available on the BT network.

Operations that will remain the same:

• Payments, receipts and currency exchanges in euro (EUR), US dollars (USD), pounds sterling (GBP), Swiss francs (CHF), Hungarian forints (HUF) and Canadian dollars (CAD) will be possible as before in all BT branches.
• All account transactions remain unchanged, regardless of the currencies held by customers.

Customers have the option to book directly from the BT website to get priority for these services.
