BT Pay simplifies the way customers can identify themselves at the bank by launching a market-first feature, BT Pay Authentication in branches and agencies Banca Transilvania.

The BT Pay ecosystem is expanding, encompassing both everyday banking solutions as well as authentication in Call Center and in branches.

The new functionality complements the authentication modality so far in over 500 BT branches, using the ID card/passport, and has been developed using the FLOWX technology platform .AI, based on artificial intelligence, with the involvement of Endava, respectively Code Crafters, the technology company of Banca Transilvania Group.

The impact of the launch is the positive experience through the digital component for the people who visit the bank - over 80,000/day - as well as for OTP Bank Romania customers who will become BT customers in early March 2025.
