BT Pay and BT Go are gradually replacing BT24 and NeoBT, becoming the only apps through which personal and business customers will bank with Banca Transilvania. The migration is being carried out in stages, starting this month and ending in October 2025.

For Banca Transilvania, the migration means concentrating services in two super apps that are constantly coming with new functionality and simplified banking experiences for users.

Users will receive information from Banca Transilvania - by email, SMS or via the apps - about the switch to BT Pay and BT Go.

Recommendations for customers to keep their money safe :

• Critically analyze the messages received regardless of the channel, with reference to migration and bank applications. 
• Communications that appear to be from BT - by email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, WhatsApp, Telegram, social media, etc. - should be checked if they raise suspicions. For these cases/report fraud, BT contact details are 0264 308 055, contact@btrl.ro.
• BT does not request personal data or access details in banking applications through any communication channel.
• The bank does not prompt customers to install applications by encouraging them to click on links.
• Check on the Banca Transilvania website for information about security in BT applications, online security and migration.

The significant increase in the number of BT Pay and BT Go users has contributed to the acceleration of the digitalization of Banca Transilvania's customers, which exceeded 90%, as well as to the change of behaviors in the relationship with money and with the bank - from contactless payments with the phone, opening a current account, generating cards 100% online to the issuance of invoices by entrepreneurs.
