Vlad Micu has been appointed Managing Director of INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A., a Banca Transilvania Group company

Vlad Micu has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A., the newest company of the Banca Transilvania Group, which will specialize in alternative investment fund management.

In his almost 30 years of experience, Mr. Micu has held various management positions in corporate banking, investment banking, trade finance and business development at several banks in Romania. He has also been a member of the Boards of Directors of leasing companies and financial investment services companies (SSIF). He joined Banca Transilvania six years ago, where, in charge of coordinating corporate loans. He holds an Executive MBA from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

We are targeting the growth of the alternative investment fund management business, a market with potential in Romania, but at an early stage of development, if we compare it with the open-end funds or with the specialized markets in this segment of activity at EU level. We see significant medium to long term growth prospects in the area of private equity and venture capital, which can be supported by, for example, the creation of thematic funds or funds with a sectoral focus. This approach will allow us to further support local entrepreneurial initiatives throughout their development, starting with seed money, continuing with subsequent rounds of financing up to stock exchange listings, complementing the Banca Transilvania Group's financial services and products offer.

Mr. Vlad Micu has recently received the approval for the position of CEO of INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A. from the Financial Supervisory Authority. Also, INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A. S.A. has received authorization from the ASF as Alternative Investment Funds Administrator (AFIA).

INNO Investments S.A.I. S.A. underwent a rebranding phase in June 2025, having previously been known as OTP Asset Management România S.A.I. S.A. Banca Transilvania Group acquired OTP Asset Management in October 2024 as part of the purchase of all OTP Group entities in Romania.
