10 options for self-banking from Banca Transilvania

Banca Transilvania's clients have at their disposal 10 self-banking options for the main banking operations. Money management can be done through applications, internet banking, mobile banking, chatbots and multifunctional ATMs. All this simplifies the relationship with the bank for both individuals and companies. BT customers increasingly prefer the phone for self-banking.
"In an increasingly digital world, customers interact differently with the bank, having at our disposal possibilities that we did not imagine a few years ago. All this means new options and experiences precisely because all the basic BT products and services are transformed into digital solutions. In-house are involved teams from the digital, retail, SME, IT fields, as well as colleagues from branches and agencies" - says Mariana Chindriş, Executive Director Digital Transformation, Banca Transilvania.
The 10 BT self-banking options are the following: BT Pay wallet, Apple Pay, BT Pay keyboard/extension, Garmin Pay, Fitbit Pay; BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, BT Visual Help application; chatbots Livia and Raul, respectively multifunctional ATMs. Also, through the BT website you can apply for the online personal loan and online account opening, and the entrepreneurs, for services such as CIP online and online checks/ tickets.
The preference for BT self-banking is growing:
- BT Pay wallet: over 300,000 users, double that of December 2018. +170% is the increase in the number of transfers from BT Pay to BT Pay users based on the phone number in the contact list, respectively through IBAN to customers of other banks (June vs. December 2018). The number of payments with BT Pay doubled in the first half of the year.
- Apple Pay: Over 50,000 BT cards in Apple Pay as of June this year.
- BT Visual Help: more than 20,000 BT card actions as of March this year. The most widely used self-banking option through this application is the modification of the card trading limits.
- Multifunctional ATMs: +35% number of transactions made in June this year compared to December 2018.
- Nearly 2 million messages (replies) were sent in the first half of the year through Livia's chatbot to individual customers and nearly 70,000 through raul chatbot to corporate customers.
- Almost 10 million transactions were made through BT24 Internet Banking (+18%), respectively 2.6 million (+83%) through BT24 Mobile Banking, in the first six months of the year.
- The volume of transactions in RON through Internet Banking is +28%, and through Mobile Banking +62% in June 2019 compared to the same period of last year.
- Over 1.2 million people use BT24 Internet Banking, +20% (June 2019 vs June 2018); BT24 Mobile Banking has 750,000 users, +60% (June 2019 vs June 2018).
Most of the banking operations performed by Banca Transilvania's clients through self-banking are the following: money transfer, payment of invoices, currency exchange, balance verification, modification of card trading limits, card blocking or reissuing, verification of transactions and customizing the PIN.
