The first contactless ATM is for Banca Transilvania customers

• Cash withdrawals can be made with your phone, BT Pay accessories, contactless cards and neo private beta
• Within three months, BT customers made over 600,000 contactless cash withdrawals from the ATM

Banca Transilvania's customers have the opportunity to manage their money including through a state-of-the-art, 100% contactless ATM, without a card slot. It is located in Bucharest, at Promenada Mall. The money can be withdrawn with your phone, through the BT Pay and Apple Pay app, with any of the accessories of the BT Pay collection and with the BT contactles cards. The novelty also applies to BT customers using the neo private beta app.

At the end of July this year, BT became the first bank in Romania from which customers can contactlessly withdraw money from the ATM with their phone or card without being inserted into the slot. Within three months, Banca Transilvania's customers made over 600,000 contactless withdrawals from ATMs.

Through contactless access to ATMs, BT customers have at their disposal all the functionalities of ATMs so far, except for card activation and PIN customization, for safety reasons.

Banca Transilvania is the only bank in Romania that offers, through the BT Pay collection, a series of contactless payment alternatives, wearables type: watch, bracelet, sticker, BT Pay app, Garmin Pay, Fitbit Pay and BT Pay keyboard/extension.
