Campaign for Banca Transilvania customers who make payments with Mastercard

Banca Transilvania and Mastercard are launching the campaign BT x Mastercard te duc to the Pirelli Gran Premio D'Italia 2025 with the McLaren Formula 1 McLaren Team for cardholders who make payments with one of the BT Mastercard cards (Star Forte, Mastercard Mondo, Mastercard Gold, Mastercard Direct and Mastercard Omnipass) for a total amount of minimum RON 500, between June 5 and July 31, 2025.

The prizes are experiences at the 2025 Pirelli Italian Grand Prix (September 5-7), namely the opportunity to drive a lap of the circuit with a professional racing driver at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza before the race. The winners will be chosen by a draw, scheduled for August 8, 2025.

It's every fan's dream to experience the track, and now every BT customer who uses their Mastercard has that opportunity. The rewards that come with the campaign mean experiences to match - the chance to be in a McLaren car and feel the energy of the circuit first hand. We are delighted to kick off this campaign, having just a few days ago, also thanks to Mastercard, announced our partnership with McLaren. We are preparing another surprise for July.

Thanks to Mastercard, Banca Transilvania has become the Official Race Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team at the 2025 Lenovo Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, which will take place in Budapest on August 2-3, 2025. The McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, will wear the BT and Mastercard logos on their helmets, steering wheel and McLaren MCL39 single-seater. Piastri and Norris currently rank first and second in the Formula 1 Drivers' standings, while the McLaren Formula 1 Team is the current leader in the Formula 1 Constructors' standings.

Banca Transilvania is the card market leader in Romania, with 7.5 million cards issued. Almost 70% of these are in digital format.
