Mastercard Welcomes Banca Transilvania as an Official Race Partner for the McLaren Formula 1 Team at the 2025 Formula 1 Lenovo Hungarian Grand Prix

Drawing on its longstanding partnership with Mastercard, Banca Transilvania will be an Official Race Partner for the McLaren Formula 1 Team at the 2025 Formula 1 Lenovo Hungarian Grand Prix, one of the most successful teams in the history of motorsports.

During the race in Hungary, the McLaren Racing drivers Lando Norris (25, United Kingdom) and Oscar Piastri (24, Australia) will wear the Banca Transilvania and Mastercard logos on their helmets, steering wheel and the McLaren MCL39 race cars. Piastri and Norris are currently ranked first and second, respectively in the Formula 1 Drivers' standings. McLaren is the leader of the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship standings.

On this occasion, Banca Transilvania and Mastercard announce the launch of a campaign that will run from June 5 to July 31, 2025 for people who make payments of at least RON 500 with Mastercard cards issued by Banca Transilvania. The winning customers in the draw will enjoy a thrilling ride around the Autodromo Nazionale Monza track in a McLaren road car, driven by a professional racing driver, ahead of the 2025 FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA.
