BT Romania ETF exceeded RON 300 million in assets and delivered a strong return for investors of 20.16%

The BT Romania ETF (BVB: BTBETRETF) exceeded RON 300 million in assets and surpassed 12,500 investors, confirming the growing interest in stock market investments and solutions that facilitate access to the capital market.

Launched in April 2026, BT Romania ETF has become one of the preferred options for investors seeking to participate in the performance of Romanian listed companies. As of July 10, 2026, the fund had generated a strong return of 20.16% for investors, supported by investor confidence in the potential of the Romanian economy and the performance of the local market.

The average value of a BT Romania ETF portfolio exceeds RON 20,000, and the geographic distribution of investors shows that nearly 35% of portfolios are concentrated in Bucharest and Cluj, followed by Constanța, Iași, and Timiș.

The value of the assets and the return on the BT Romania ETF are calculated as of July 10, 2026, while the other figures presented are as of June 30, 2026.

An ETF investing in Romanian stocks included in the BET index

The BT Romania ETF is traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and tracks the performance of the BET-TR (Bucharest Exchange Trading – Total Return) index, the BSE’s benchmark index. It includes the 20 most actively traded companies on the BSE and accounts for all corporate events, such as dividend reinvestment, bonus share distributions, and capital increases.

To invest in the BT Romania ETF, investors need a trading account opened with BT Capital Partners or any other participant in the BSE trading system, as well as the BT Pay app.

The ETF is managed by BT Asset Management SAI, and the liquidity for the fund units is provided by BT Capital Partners; both are investment subsidiaries of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group.

The BT Romania ETF is a high-risk fund denominated in RON and is intended for dynamic investors with a thorough understanding of the capital market. It is classified as risk class 4 out of 7, which is a high-risk class. This means that potential losses associated with future performance will be high, and it is very likely that deteriorating market conditions will result in a loss of money.
