Banca Transilvania reaches 100,000 Premium Banking customers and launches Premium Club

Banca Transilvania reached 100,000 Premium Banking customers, a business segment different from Private Banking, +25% compared to the same period last year.

The increase in the number of Premium Banking customers has been driven by the upward financial journey of the bank's customers and by people who wanted to diversify their savings by starting to work with BT, which can only make us happy. Thanks to these results, we are launching the Premium Club, a programme tailored to customers' requirements, which comes with premium services, customised products, as well as savings and investment tools unique to the market. We have every confidence that this different approach will be successful in the Romanian market and that it will contribute to the prosperity of Premium customers.

Premium Banking - Private Banking

The bank announced in May 2023 the re-segmentation of Premium Banking - Private Banking to further open up customers' access to exclusive services.

• Premium Banking is intended for people with savings or investments of 75,000 - 200,000 euro at the bank and in other Banca Transilvania Group companies, or with monthly income of at least 10,000 lei, received in a BT account.
• To be a Private Banking client, the threshold is €200,000 - cumulative - in accounts, savings and investments in the BT Group.

Over 20,000 BT Premium Banking customers in Bucharest

Resegmentation came, also starting last year, with a new approach to Premium Banking customers in Bucharest, through personalized advice offered both physically, in four BT offices, through a dedicated Relationship Manager, and remotely, through Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM).

20% of BT Premium Banking customers are in Bucharest and 12% in Cluj-Napoca.

Premium Club: premium services, personalised products and dedicated venues

Banca Transilvania launches Premium Club, a program that brings the following benefits to Premium Banking customers:

• Access to banking and investment expertise through Banca Transilvania, BT Asset Management and BT Capital Partners;
• Financial concierge and priority access to the bank's services and products through the Virtual Relationship Manager;
• Dedicated products and services:
  • Premium current account subscription (preferential bank fees, travel insurance, up to 15% cashback at retailers, etc.);
  • Premium shopping cards and special services;
  • Deposits and negotiated exchange rates.
• Dedicated investment solutions through BT Asset Management and BT Capital Partners in funds, equities in nearly 30 markets and government securities.
• Access to BT offices dedicated to working with Premium Banking customers.

For Premium Banking customers in Cluj-Napoca, Banca Transilvania will open a dedicated branch in the second half of the year, on Calea Dorobantilor, opposite BT Head Office.
