BT Pay, the wallet app for shopping and transferring money with your phone, has three new features: Share the cost, Request money from multiple people and Send money to multiple contacts from your phone.  

With the new options, customers who have a card with Banca Transilvania get new experiences, by involving their friends who use the BT Pay app. From now on a bill can be shared with friends or money can be collected for joint purchases.

"We will continuously launch new features within BT Pay, so that it becomes more and more part of our customers' lives. The application has been very well received so far: from the end of January until now we have more than 1,000 downloads every day" - says Oana Ilas, Coordinating Director, Retail Product Development and Management, Banca Transilvania.

BT Pay, digital wallet with 7 features:

• Contactless shopping with your phone, at home and abroad. The functionality is available for smartphones with Android operating system, the iOS system does not allow NFC (Near Field Communication) access for third party applications. Any BT card can be added in digital format in the BT Pay app.
• Transfer money between your own cards and to other people who have a BT debit or credit card, Visa or Mastercard;
• View details of BT card transactions, balance and STAR loyalty points earned;
• Access to offers from BT and the bank's partners under the STAR loyalty programme;
• Split the Bill, an option that requires requesting money from people in contact with the phone who also use BT Pay. The amount can be split equally or a different amount can be requested.
• Requesting money from multiple people by selecting them from contacts on your phone.
• Sending money to more than one person in the phone's contacts.
  

The BT Pay app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or App Store on Android and iOS smartphones and involves adding your BT card(s) digitally.

The BT Pay collection includes the BT Pay app, sticker, watch and contactless wristband.
