BT Pay users can issue debit or credit cards directly from the app, with access to their accounts, to other people. BT Pay is thus increasingly becoming an app for the whole family.

The card can be used immediately after issuance via BT Pay, while the physical card is received later, according to preference, at home or at a Banca Transilvania branch. The person who issues the card - the account holder - has control over the money by accessing the card management options via BT Pay: viewing payments, changing transaction limits, blocking the card, etc.

In the BT Pay ecosystem, we have features that build a special community, BT Pay Family, for connecting family members financially and managing money together. At the same time, we are increasing adoption of online banking and financial education. Today we are bringing this new functionality, in addition to the one we already have, BT Pay Kiddo, aimed at 8-18 year olds and their parents.

Another recently launched BT Pay feature, valid for Visa cards, is to view and manage your saved card at merchants, useful for future payments and subscriptions.
