Banca Transilvania extends BT Pay by launching a new facility, Personal Data Update, for individual customers. The application has been periodically completed with new facilities including complementary banking: donations, offers and health.
- Customers can update their personal data by accessing the BT Pay/Settings/Profile application.
- From the perspective of the relationship with the bank, personal data means information such as: identification data, contact details, occupation, employer, estimated level of transactions/day, etc.
- How to update your personal data at BT:
- Individual customers:
- Via the BT website, in the section Update personal data and via the Ino chatbot;
- By telephone (Call Centre, 0264 30 80 28 or *8028);
- Through the BT Pay app;
- In branches and agencies.
- Corporate clients:
- Via the BT website, in the section Update legal entity data;

- Updating personal data is done periodically by all banks because it is a legal requirement in Romania and in Europe(Law No. 129/2019, NBR Regulation No. 2/2019, but also EU Regulation 679/2016 on data protection). Accurate and up-to-date information means access to products and services, banking operations and information received through various communication channels, but also caution on the part of banks regarding transactions carried out through them.
- Individual customers:
BT Pay is the first banking and payments super-app in Romania, currently used by over 1 million people.
