Banca Transilvania is, for the second year in a row, the most attractive employer in the financial sector, according to the latest survey conducted by Randstad Romania Employer Brand Research.
In Romania, the research was based on a sample of over 4,000 employees from 150 companies, part of the most comprehensive independent employer brand survey in the world. According to it, the attractive salary and benefits are the main characteristics of the ideal employer for Romanians, which are the most important when choosing a job.
If in 2023, according to the Randstad Romania study, the keywords were inclusion and diversity, in 2024 these will be joined by fairness and artificial intelligence.
About people and companies in Romania
- Fairness and inclusion are key to attracting and retaining early career starters.
- Millennials and Gen Xers place greater importance on job security.
- Attractive salary package, workplace atmosphere, job stability and fairness are the main factors influencing job choice.
- Almost three quarters of Romanian employees feel engaged in their current role and 56% are more motivated than last year. Pay and benefits are the main reason for lack of engagement, while appreciation is crucial for motivation.
- Eight out of ten employees consider retraining to be important, with no significant differences between age groups.
- Work-life balance is particularly important for digital talent, while employees in professional and operational fields put more emphasis on equity initiatives.
The Dutch company Randstad is today the international leader in human resources services. In Romania, it has been contributing to the evolution of the labor market for 8 years.
Such an annual survey is an opportunity for companies to develop or adapt proactive strategies for employees. For brands that are among the most attractive employers, such as Banca Transilvania, the results of the Randstad Romania Employer Brand Research is a confirmation of its recognition as an employer brand.
