Banca Transilvania and the Investment and Development Bank (IDB) announce the signing of an agreement to support the development of investment projects for infrastructure and local communities, carried out by Local Public Authorities and their subordinated companies.

The partnership expands local and regional financing capacity, while at the same time strengthening the guarantee mechanism by reducing risks and accelerating access to sustainable finance.

• The value of the IDB Guarantee is between 5 and 150 million lei.
• The maximum guarantee period is 15 years.
• The maximum guarantee is up to 80%.

The convention is part of the framework through which the Investment and Development Bank, together with commercial banks, supports projects in areas such as digitization, education, health, energy, public utilities, access to European funds.

For the next three years, the IDB is making available a total guarantee ceiling of 2.1 billion lei.
