With Apple Pay on their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac, customers can make payments quickly and conveniently in stores, through apps or through the Internet.

Security and privacy are the basis of Apple Pay: when using your debit or credit card with Apple Pay, the card number is not stored on your device or on Apple's servers. A Device Account Number is allocated, encrypted and stored securely in the device, and each transaction is authorized with a unique security code.

Apple Pay is easy to install. BT customers will continue to receive all the benefits they currently have by using debit and credit cards.

With iPhone and Apple Watch, customers can pay with Apple Pay in stores, restaurants, taxis, vending machines and many other places. When shopping online with Apple Pay, through applications or on Safari, it is no longer necessary to manually add the card details for payment or the delivery and billing information. Each purchase through Apple Pay is authenticated with a simple glance or touch, by Face ID or Touch ID, or with the password of the device.
