The BT Pay application, the first bank wallet in Romania, has 5 new features

Banca Transilvania is launchingnew opportunities for the BT Pay application, so that customers have at their disposal more and more possibilities for easy and non-stop management, with the help of phone, cards and money.
The new features of BT Pay are as follows:
- Tracking, by category, of purchases and payments made with cards;
- Setting the transaction limits for physical BT cards and those enrolled in BT Pay (digital) for payments at merchants and for online ones, respectively for money withdrawals from Transilvania Bank ATMs;
- Temporary or permanent blocking of digital and physical BT cards;
- Replenishing the credit card with the minimum or maximum amount required monthly – automatically, at maturity or at any time;
- Access to offers for those who use BT Pay and Fitbit: by logging in with the Fitbit account, users will find surprise BT offers that they can access depending on the number of steps taken by walking, as well as using BT Pay. The starting offers are as follows: double number of STAR points for payments with the shopping card through BT Pay, discount on Snowfest 2019 packages and free insurance for incidents.

We want to offer variety to our customers, in order to be able to choose the options that suit them best every day. We started with contactless payments and fast money transfer, and now we have come to integrate in BT Pay options that help to better manage cards and money, respectively that encourage a healthy lifestyle. We are, of course, preparing other launches. " - declares Oana Ilas, Managing Director, Retail Products Development and Management Department, Banca Transilvania.

With the help of this partnership with Banca Transilvania, we can make known even more the concept of constantly moving, while keeping the motivation at high levels every day." – says Rares Florea, Regional Country Manager Fitbit.
The BT Pay application can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or App Store, on Android and iOS smartphones and involves adding the card (s) from Banca Transilvania in digital format.
Since its launch in January this year, the application has been desca r a 180,000 times. The number of payments with the phone to the traderand money transfers between the users of the applicationincreased by 35% in the third quarter compared to the previous one.
