Two of the Visa BT digital cards—debit cards in lei and euros—feature designs inspired by the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina. The cards are available in digital format and can be used directly through the BT Pay app, with this exclusive visual concept available until the end of the year.

Banca Transilvania has been a partner of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee since 2022, and Visa is the exclusive payment technology partner of the Olympic Games globally.

The Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22, 2026. The event brings together over 3,500 athletes from 93 countries, competing for 195 medals in 16 Olympic disciplines.

• The card can be requested, issued, and used exclusively from the BT Pay app, and is immediately available for payments, transfers, etc. The steps are as follows, from BT Pay: Add card/Virtual/Virtual Card.
• For people who already had a virtual Visa BT card, but inspired by the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the design has already been automatically updated.
• In the case of the euro card, the account is opened automatically, without the need for an initial account in this currency.
