Banca Transilvania started on January 16, 2025 the distribution of cards for corporate customers of OTP Bank Romania.

Also as of this date, customers will receive an official information from the two banks by post and, where appropriate, by email. This includes the welcome offer and these details:

• The benefits of the BT card that will replace the one issued by OTP Bank from March 3, 2025;
• The Banca Transilvania/OTP Bank unit where the card can be picked up.

Customers can also find out which BT/OTP Bank branch they can collect their card(s) from:

• online, from the Banca Transilvania website;
• from any BT office;
• via BT Call Center & Customer Care (0800 800 800 881; +40264 308 014; otp@bancatransilvania.ro).

OTP Bank customers have the possibility to make an appointment online to pick up the card at the unit where it was sent.

Card(s) collection and activation 

• All company cards must be taken over by the legal representative;
• After receiving the card from the company administrator, each person has to activate it at one of Banca Transilvania's ATMs.

BT and OTP Bank Romania will merge on February 28, 2025.
