Passing the torch comes at a time when the bank has a solid customer base and an accelerated adoption pace, with the next stage focusing on business scaling, market position strengthening and innovation. His experience qualifies him to continue the strategic direction and to take Salt Bank to the next level of maturity, operating efficiency, and performance. We thank Gabriella Nistor for her key contribution to the launch of the first 100% digital bank in Romania and for her 30-year career with BT, continuing to write the story as a member of the Board of Directors of two of Banca Transilvania Group's companies, Salt Bank and BT Direct.
Continuity in leadership

I am truly grateful for the trust the Board and Gabriela have in me. This trust feels like a big responsibility, a clear commitment to carry on what we have built together and to do banking your way. We will not change anything that has gotten us here. We continue the same way: showing speed, direction and attention to detail. We continue to grow but stay close to people and their everyday experience. This is who we are.
Robert Anghel
CEO
Salt Bank
Less than two years ago, we launched Salt Bank, the first 100% digital bank in Romania. It has grown spectacularly, and more importantly, it has grown with meaning. Today, Salt is more than just the story of a courageous launch; it is clear proof that our success wasn’t just luck. It has become a market benchmark, including for expertise, and a name that comes naturally to mind when you say digital banking. For me, Salt is undoubtedly the most beautiful project. A real gift for my entire career.
