You can become a customer of Banca Transilvania directly through the BT Pay app

• The current account at Banca Transilvania can be opened in a few minutes through BT Pay, 24/7.
• New customers have instant access to the digital card and all the functionalities of the application.
• Opening a savings account, making a deposit and paying in foreign currency are three other recently launched BT Pay functionalities.

BT Pay replaces the bank for people who want to become customers of Banca Transilvania. Through this application, opening a current account can be done at any time, in a few minutes. New customers have immediate access to all the functionalities of the application and receive the digital debit card and then the physical card instantly in the application at one of the bank's branches or at the desired address. The card can be funded either by IBAN transfer or by another bank card added to BT Pay.

To become a retail customer of Banca Transilvania, you can now do it directly through BT Pay. This is one of the most awaited functionalities of our super-app, which turns onboarding into a 100% online experience, 24/7. With everything we've built so far in the BT Pay ecosystem, customers can find what they need to bank on their phone, as well as answers to complementary banking needs. Other BT Pay functionalities have recently been launched, increasing access to online banking: opening a savings account, making deposits and foreign currency payments.

Opening a savings account/making a deposit

• A savings account or deposit can be opened through BT Pay.
• These, as well as Round-Up, can be grouped into a single category in the app for easier savings management.

Payment in foreign currency 

• People who want to make a payment or transfer in foreign currency, including instant payment in euro, can do it directly from BT Pay, if the application adds the account in that currency opened with Banca Transilvania.
• Customers who only have a lei account can open an account in any currency from the app in the Accounts option.
