The physical version of the BT Visa UNTOLD UNTOLD card, between art and technology: a luminous effect with every payment

Banca Transilvania, UNTOLD and Visa launch the BT Visa UNTOLD BT Card in physical version. It is a unique card in Romania and among the first cards in the world that emits a light effect at each contactless payment, a visual effect thanks to the OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) technology integrated in the card and is produced by IDEMIA Secure Transactions.

The new card combines artistic design with technological innovation, offering users a unique experience, both at the UNTOLD festival and in everyday life, including being a symbol of belonging to the UNTOLD community.

Initially launched in August 2023 in a digital version, the physical card will be in a limited edition of 10,000 and is now available for pre-registration on the Banca Transilvania website until April 15, 2025. The cards will be issued upon acceptance of the offer, with priority given to those who pre-registered during the pre-registration period.

BT Visa UNTOLD - key features :

• It's a debit card, in lei, that can be used for any occasion: for shopping in shops or online, for cash withdrawals, etc.
• The physical version with OLED technology will be part of an exclusive benefits package to be announced with the official launch.
• The digital version can still be used via the BT Pay app. From August 2025, it will also feature a design inspired by the anniversary edition of UNTOLD X 2025. Until now, the design has been inspired by the UNTOLD Light Phoenix (2023) and Mother Nature (2024) themes.

The virtual version of the BT Visa UNTOLD card has set a number of records so far: the fastest product roll-out - just one week from idea to issuance; the highest number of cards issued - over 10,000 in less than two days; and the fastest growth of a co-branded portfolio in the region - almost 160,000 cards issued from August 2023 to date.
