April 28, 2025 Reading time 2:00 minutes

BT Pensii will henceforth manage BRD Medio voluntary pension fund, under the name Pensia Mea Plus, following the approval received from the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) to take over the management of the voluntary pension fund from BRD Pensii (BRD Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private).
Banca Transilvania, BT Investments, BRD-Groupe Societe Generale and Societe Generale Assurances announced in 2024 the agreement for the acquisition of BRD Pensii by Banca Transilvania and BT Investments. The company manages pillar 3 and pillar 2 pension funds, namely FPF BRD Medio and FPAP BRD Pensii.
Participants of BRD Medio (Pensia Mea Plus) can see their pension account balance on the BT Pensii website, while the bank details for transferring the contribution remain unchanged.
Impact: strengthening BT Pensii's position in the voluntary pensions market
Pensia Mea Plus will help strengthen BT Pensii in the voluntary pensions market, which will now manage two Pillar 3 pension funds, Pensia Mea and Pensia Mea Plus, with over 150,000 participants.
We are dedicated to managing the pension funds of almost 37,000 participants to Pensia Mea Plus in the most professional way, just as we do for the more than 115,000 participants to Pensia Mea. This is BT Pensii's commitment, as the only Romanian majority-owned administrator, for Romanians and for their financial future
