Highest interest rate: 8.5% on the 36-month deposit for individuals and legal entities

Banca Transilvania increases by up to 2%, the interest rates on savings products in RON and foreign currency for individuals and legal entities. 24- and 36-month deposits have the highest interest rate among BT's savings products, at 7.75% and 8.5%, respectively, and interest is paid annually on each anniversary of the deposit. BT has raised interest rates for the sixth time since February this year.

New interest rates for individuals For term deposits, in lei:

• Deposit for 1 month: 5.75% (+0.5%)
• 3-month deposit: 6.50% (+0.5%)
• 6-month deposit: 7% (+0.75%)
• 12-month deposit: 7.25% (+0.5%)
• 24-month deposit: 7.75% (+0.25%)
• 36-month deposit: 8.5% (+0.5%)

KidCONT, the product that encourages saving for children, now has an interest rate of 6.5% over 12 months, after an increase of 0.5%.

For forward deposits, in euro:

• Deposit for 1 month: 0.35% (+0.35%)
• 3-month deposit: 0.6% (+0.6%)
• 6-month deposit: 1% (+0.85%)
• 12-month deposit: 1.5% (+1.25%)
• 24-month deposit: 2% (+1.65%)
• 36-month deposit: 2.5% (+2%)

For term deposits, in dollars:

• Deposit for 1 month: 2% (+1.25%)
• 3-month deposit: 2.50% (+1.35%)
• 6-month deposit: 3% (+1.25%)
• 12-month deposit: 3.5% (+1.15%)
