Banca Transilvania has a new Executive Director Financial Institutions and Investor Relations and BT Asset Management has a new CEO

Aurel Bernat is the new Executive Director Financial Institutions and Investor Relations at Banca Transilvania. He will also have the opportunity to contribute to the value growth and further development of Banca Transilvania Financial Group's main investment companies - BT Asset Management, BT Capital Partners and BT Pensii.

Until now, Aurel Bernat was Managing Director of BT Asset Management. For the past 15 years, he has been a member of the BT Asset Management management team and a member of the BT Pensions Board of Directors. Aurel Bernat has almost 20 years of experience in investment management, investor relations and international relations - mostly within the Banca Transilvania Group.

Dan Dascăl will be the new CEO of BT Asset Management, taking over specific duties after receiving approvals for the position from the authorities. He is currently Deputy CEO of the same company, which will become the largest mutual fund manager in Romania in 2022. He has 25 years of experience in the capital market, during his career managing key departments in leading companies active in this field. Dan Dascăl has been part of the BT Group team since 2002, when he joined BT Securities - now BT Capital Partners - as Chief Operating Officer, and has been with BT Asset Management since 2017.
