Banca Transilvania granted the first Noua Casa loan for buying a house in Bucharest

The first house financed by the New House Program, implemented through Banca Transilvania, was bought in Bucharest. The apartment has 3 rooms and cost about 73,000 euro, and the loan is 66,500 euro, the equivalent in lei. The monthly rate is about 330 euro, equivalent in lei, i.e. 1,600 lei, and the interest rate is 4.17% p.a. The client is 35 years old, is an economist, and buying an apartment was one of his plans for this year, and the reason for his first loan at BT.

The bank will grant loans of 700 million lei through New House

The New Home has a much wider reach than the First Home Programme, as the main novelty is the possibility to purchase a higher value home, which satisfies the need for space and offers customers greater comfort, trends also noted by BT among the preferences and requirements of customers, especially this year. Also, the maximum amount that can be borrowed has been increased to 119,000 euros. As for the minimum down payment required, it is between 5 and 15%, differentiated according to the type of housing.


Through New Home, old and new homes can be purchased if the purchase value does not exceed 70,000 euros (RON equivalent), in which case the maximum amount of financing must be 66,500 euros (RON equivalent) and the minimum down payment required is 5%. New homes can also be purchased if the purchase value is equal to or higher than 70,001 euro (RON equivalent): the maximum financing amount for these properties must be 119,000 euro (RON equivalent) and the minimum down payment required is 15%.
