Banca Transilvania and Mastercard are launching the physical, euro-denominated version of the premium McLaren F1 Team Mastercard Debit Gold card. This comes as a result of the success of the BT's digital cards, in RON and euro, launched last year under the same partnership. Nearly 80,000 cards have been activated in BT Pay since July 2025 to date - a confirmation that a growing community of McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team fans is taking shape around them .

Mastercard and Banca Transilvania - Official Mastercard Race Partner of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team at the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2025 and 2026 - recently announced the extension of the partnership, through the support of two new rounds on the F1 calendar: the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix 2026 and the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2027.
