250 thousand companies, supported by Banca Transilvania

Banca Transilvania, the bank of entrepreneurial people, supports 250 thousand corporate clients. A third of the companies founded in 2017 collaborate with BT.

Banca Transilvania employs large and medium corporate clients, SMEs and micro-enterprises. Annually, within BT are processed transactions of approximately RON 100 bn and foreign exchanges of RON 30 bn for corporate, medium and large clients. Approximately 15% of the financing granted to medium and large companies in Romania was analyzed and instrumented by BT departments specialized in fields, product or lending structures.

BT for SMEs:

• Banca Transilvania has the most diversified ecosystem to support SMEs in Romania, through approach, team, products and services 3 out of 5 SMEs in Romania work with Banca Transilvania.
• This year, BT launched for SME clients the UNLIMITED facility in the BT Network: the current account package with unlimited operations at Banca Transilvania means zero additional banking costs for online transactions and through debit instruments made between BT SME clients. Over 100,000 customers benefit from the UNLIMITED subscription, one of the most appreciated facilities launched by the bank.

BT for small businesses:

• Over 3,000 small businesses financed in 2017: ≈20% of them were launched thanks to BT Mic, offering the bank's clients entry into the field of entrepreneurship.
• The company is dedicated to financing small businesses, which have an annual turnover of up to 1 mil. of lei, regardless of the form of organization.
• The total volume of loans granted through BT Mic: 165,7 mil. of lei.
• 20% of the supported companies have up to one year of activity.
• Over 600 of the entrepreneurs that BT Mic works with are up to 30 years old.

BT for Corporate:

• Banca Transilvania manages the accounts of over 10,000 large and medium-sized companies, the bank's offer consisting of customized service packages and financing solutions.
• 16% of the funds of the big companies in Romania are managed by the BT treasuries.
• BT Ultra Web, BT Ultra ERP, Release of Online Debit Instruments, digital signature are just some of the electronic and automation solutions launched in the last year. It has the role of facilitating and streamlining the relationship of these companies with the bank and with the business partners.

Banca Transilvania supports entrepreneurs including through free access to education and specialized information, through BT Club. This year, almost 80 free courses and trainings were organized in over 60 localities. The over 10,000 participants had the opportunity to learn about financial intelligence, start-ups, non-reimbursable funds, sales management and eCommerce.
