The planting of the Transylvania Forest continued this year. Banca Transilvania and the Tasuleasa Social Association organized during March 14 - 19 this year the Forest Planting Marathon, during which, with the help of more than 1,500 volunteers, about 60,000 seedlings were planted on an area of about 20 hectares in Tritenii de Jos, Cluj county.

Since 2014, the bank has invested more than 430,000 euros in programs dedicated to volunteer actions for afforestation in Cluj (Tritenii de Jos), Bistrita-Nasaud (Budesti, Budesti-Fanate, Sanmihaiu de Campie), Calarasi (Jegalia) and Bucharest (Videle). More than 12,000 volunteers took part in these projects, which planted with more than 285,000 seedlings almost 80 hectares of land, transformed today into forests.
