Capital Partners brokered the Bond Issue of Agroserv Măriuța, who Owns the Lăptăria cu Caimac Brand

BT Capital Partners, the investment banking and capital markets company of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group, successfully brokered the issuance of corporate covered bonds, launched by Agroserv Măriuța (BVB: MILK), the company that owns the Lăptăria cu Caimac brand.

With the issue that ran from October 28 to October 30, 2025, Agroserv Măriuța raised €3 million. The private placement targeted qualified investors and up to 149 retail investors and was fully subscribed.

In an increasingly complex market context, this transaction proves that financing remains accessible to companies that stand out through the strength of their brand, the clarity of their strategy and their ongoing commitment to offer investors added safety. Structuring this issue in the form of covered bonds, Agroserv Măriuța has conveyed precisely this message to the market: trustworthiness, predictability and respect for investors’ confidence, principles reflected in the success of the placement.

The new bonds, denominated in euro and issued under the symbol MILK28E, have a nominal value of €100 per bond, a fixed annual interest rate of 9.5% and a maturity of three years, until 2028.

The story of Agroserv Măriuța, a 100% Romanian company

• The story of Agroserv Măriuța began in 1994, thanks to the owners Mădălina and Adrian Cocan and the fact that, at the intersection of Ialomita and Calarasi counties, Mădălina Cocan's parents had a cow farm - a modern one, with improvements and many hectares of land.
  
  
• The idea behind the business: to do more with milk from the farm.
  
  
• It has become one of the few fully integrated agricultural companies in Romania with activities in arable farming, cattle breeding and milk processing.
  
  
• Since 2018, the company has a new line of business, the processing of cow's milk into dairy products - whole milk packaged in bottles, ripened cheeses, acidophilic products.

Where does the name come from? "The milk skin protects the milk underneath from the contact with the air and is an indicator of whole milk. In Romanian, milk skin has come to stand for excellence, the best of something. The Romanian idiom “to take the milk skin” out of something means to take the best part of something.
