Following the 2024 ESG comprehensive assessment conducted by Sustainalytics, Banca Transilvania received the best ESG Rating in the last three years, respectively 14.95 - Low Risk Rating. The rating reflects the bank's commitment to managing environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks in a responsible and sustainable manner, as well as the way Banca Transilvania integrates ESG into its business model.

Sustainalytics, one of the leading global providers of ESG ratings, analyzes companies' exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and their ability to manage them. The assessment is based on 10 international standards and frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), World Economic Forum, etc.

Banca Transilvania has taken steps forward on the following issues:

• Stakeholder governance: updating the commitments that the bank assumed towards different stakeholders. BT promotes transparency and has streamlined non-financial risk management mechanisms.
• Integrating ESG pillars in the financial activity: both in the financing activity for retail clients, SMEs and large corporates, and also in its investment strategy;
• Business ethics: updating the bank's policies and commitments to appropriately manage risk situations.
