Banca Transilvania has reached the milestone of 10,000 BT Visa Platinum Debit cards, one year after the product's launch. The accelerated pace of over 800 cards per month confirms the growing interest in premium financial solutions that support an active and modern lifestyle.

BT Premium Banking, a growing community 

At the end of 2025, Banca Transilvania had over 150,000 Premium customers, with assets of €6 billion managed at BT Group level. Through Premium Banking, the bank targets individuals with recurring incomes of over 10,000 lei and/or savings between 75,000 and 200,000 euros within the Banca Transilvania Group.

BT Visa Platinum Debit – premium benefits and design

The BT Visa Platinum Debit Card offers customers benefits when traveling, shopping, and dining out, enhancing their everyday experience with premium advantages. 

• The physical card is made of metal and is manufactured in the United States using production technologies specific to exclusive cards, which give it durability and a sophisticated look.
• The digital card, available in the BT Pay app, has holographic optical effects, marking a market first at launch with the visual experience it offers.

In recent years, Romania has seen an expansion in the segment of the population with above-average incomes and greater capacity for saving and investment, a trend that is also reflected in the growing interest in premium services.
