Students and master's students who are studying economics have the opportunity to do an internship at Banca Transilvania, between November and December this year, in 7 locations in the country - Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Oradea, Alba Iulia, Targu Mures and Bacau. The application period for the program Let's go topractice, with smiles! is 14 October - 8 November this year, during which interested persons should send their CV to internship@btrl.ro, specifying the name of the program and the location where they wish to do the internship, among those mentioned.
Participants in the BT internship will have the opportunity to learn banking through theory and practice from people in the Banca Transilvania team at the Head Office, branches and agencies. In addition, the bank has prepared for students a competition with prizes of 1,000 lei (gross).
Hai apractica, con zambete! is a project co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 6, Specific Objective 6.13, Call "Internships for students - Less Developed Regions", MySMIS Code 131581. The total value of the project is 4.743.612,90 lei and the EU co-financing is 4.506.429,96 lei. The programme will run from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2022, and there will be a total of 11 locations.
The overall objective of the project is to increase the number of students participating in workplace learning programmes in order to facilitate, after graduation, their integration into the labour market in economic areas with competitive potential, identified in the National Strategy for Competitiveness and the National Strategy for Research, Development and Innovation, through new partnerships between universities and employers.
The results expected through this programme are both qualitative and quantitative: the development of new partnerships between Banca Transilvania and universities throughout the country, the encouragement of the participation in internships of at least 325 students during the project, respectively the contribution to the increase of the degree of correlation and adequacy between the labour market requirements and the university curriculum.
Since it continues even after implementation and has positive effects on individual education and training, on the labour market and in society, the programme Hai lapractica, cu zambete! contributes to sustainable development. The organisation of internship and traineeship programmes for students is part of the bank's commitment to responsible growth, including investment in education and training of new generations.
With almost 9,000 employees, Banca Transilvania is one of the largest employers in Romania.
