BT Go has surpassed the 600,000-company mark in terms of businesses using the app for business and banking in Romania.

Furthermore, users now have access, within BT Go, to a virtual assistant (Chat BT) powered by artificial intelligence, which provides information in Romanian and English about the app’s features, as well as about Banca Transilvania’s products and services designed for entrepreneurs. Customers also have the option to continue chatting with a member of the bank’s team.

BT Go, by the numbers

The first five months of this year saw the following:

• More than 5,000 companies have opened accounts 100% online through BT Go.
• Nearly 24 million transactions
• Transactions totaling 288 billion lei
• Approximately 720,000 currency exchanges
• 75,500 new deposits, totaling 6.8 billion lei
• Over 2,000 cards issued directly through BT Go
• 5 million bank statements downloaded

31,000 companies that use BT Go have an account in FGO, the billing solution.

BT Go has a rating of 4.7 (on the App Store) and 4.8 (on the Google Play Store). The app also recorded a very high Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 82 (out of 100), based on feedback from customers who opened an account with BT Go between January and May 2026.

Integration of artificial intelligence.

Pilot Phase BT Chat underwent apilot phase lasting approximately one month, during which 5,000 unique customers had 35,000 interactions with the virtual assistant. It helps entrepreneurs quickly find information about operations, payments, statements, and BT products, helping to streamline their daily work.

We are seeing rapid growth in the number of users, transaction volume, and adoption rate for BT Go. We are introducing solutions that, thanks to technology, increase efficiency by expanding payment functionalities—most of which are related to account statements and workflow optimization. Our goal is for BT Go to become the go-to business platform for every entrepreneur by providing solutions to their day-to-day needs.
