Banca Transilvania integrated artificial intelligence into its platform for the first time during the year

Question BT had a record number of visitors in 2023, over 5 million. Compared to 2022, it increased by 31% and the number of visits by 43%.

Banca Transilvania's online platform is designed as an information search engine, with over 2,000 questions and answers about banking, and complements the communication channels with customers: the BT website, over 500 branches in 180 locations, the Call Center team, social media channels and chatbots.

• The popularity of Întreb BT has increased year on year, with over 70% of visitors coming to the site last year via direct access, followed by specific Google searches.
• Most visits were from Romania, Germany, UK, Italy and Spain.
• The most searched information was about account management, garnishments, online banking, bill payment alternatives and logging into Banca Transilvania applications.
• Visitors can rate the content of the Question BT online.  

Question BT AI Search option increases accessibility to information from 2023

Banca Transilvania integrated artificial intelligence into Întreb BT in October 2023 to simplify interactions and increase accessibility to platform content. Visitors searching through AI Search for information about self-banking products, services and solutions receive an answer generated by large language model, which integrates information in a more user-friendly way and using multiple information sources. Approximately 30,000 unique visitors have so far used the AI Search option more than 100,000 times.
