Representatives of the top management of Banca Transilvania and BT Italia met in Rome, at the end of June, at the Romanian Embassy in Italy, with Her Excellency Mrs. Gabriela Dancău, Ambassador of Romania to Italy.

The bank was represented by Horia Ciorcilă, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ömer Tetik, General Manager; Oana Ilaș, Deputy General Manager Retail Banking and Daniel Burcea, BT Italia Director.

Both sides emphasized the openness for joint projects dedicated to the Romanian community.

Banca Transilvania is an Official Partner of the Embassy of Romania in Italy at public diplomacy events. It is also the only Romanian bank in Italy since 2014.

The bank has recently launched the BT Pay Italia app, with Italian IBAN, digital card and instant transfers for Romanians residing in Italy and Italians. The app means solutions for everyday banking in Italy, Romania and anywhere in the world, as well as for connecting with family and friends using BT Pay in Italy or Romania.
