The integration of Bancpost in Banca Transilvania entered in a straight line

  • BT - Bancpost mixed team:

- Involvement of the teams of both banks in activities specific to integration, besides commercial ones and collaboration with customers.

- Forming an integration team, with direct responsibilities in this program, which included almost 100 people: sponsors, leads, co-leads, ambassadors and external consultants.

 

  • Organization:

- Carrying out 30 projects on key areas for knowing the activity, team, commercial offer, clients and organizational culture of Bancpost, the exchange of know-how and experience being made according to them;

- Carrying out all the stages of integration according to the plan.

 

  • Bancpost Clients:

- Facility to use Bancpost debit cards including at BT ATMs with the same fees when picking up cash that they have at Bancpost ATMs. Since June until now, approximately 600,000 transactions with Bancpost cards have been made at BT ATMs, which means over 3,000 transactions / day;

- Launch of the campaign to convert loans into Swiss francs for 2,300 eligible Bancpost customers;

- Organizing the distribution, starting with October this year, of 440,000 BT cards for Bancpost customers, through the two banks and by courier;

- Participation of the representatives of the two banks in over 500 meetings with Bancpost's Corporate Clients;

- Organization, by the BT – Bancpost team, of about 4,700 meetings with the institutions with which Bancpost had salary conventions, respectively with the merchants who had Bancpost POS;

- Analyzing all Bancpost products and services, in order to prepare the corresponding BT offer;

- Launch of the Welcome Offer at BT for over 700,000 Bancpost customers, of which 135,000 are joint clients of the two banks;

- Communication on all channels with Bancpost customers, including the launch of a microsite with information about the Welcome Offer to BT, corresponding products and services, migration calendar and IBAN generator;

- Organization of BT and Bancpost Call Center teams to ensure the availability of 24 hours out of 24 for customers.

  • Business as usual for BT clients: Banca Transilvania continued during Bancpost's integration to have numerous launches of products, services, campaigns and facilities for its customers, as well as to support the population and companies through financing. Its main objectives for this period were materialized in the continuation of the organic growth, respectively the provision of positive experiences to the 2.5 million BT customers, so that they do not feel the bancpost integration stage.
  • Streamlining bancpost's costs and activity:

- Actions to streamline the repayment of loans by Bancpost's clients;

- Optimization of the network of units, ATMs and POS.

  • Preparation for the migration of Bancpost's customer data to BT, since the end of the year: the tests on the IT and operations side have been successfully passed.

 

Organization of the BT merger stage - Bancpost

The BT and Bancpost program, in the context of the merger and the holidays, aims to generate as little discomfort as possible for the clients of the two banks, despite the intense activities related to the integration. For a part of the BT team, the period at the end of the year and the beginning of 2019 will mean the direct involvement – in Cluj-Napoca and in Bucharest – in the realization of the merger, which will take place on December 31st, this year BT will make public the results of the completion of the merger on January 3, 2019, since the integrated activity of the two banks will continue under a single brand, Banca Transilvania.

In addition to Bancpost, Banca Transilvania acquired from Eurobank Group, in April this year, the companies ERB Leasing and ERB Retail Services, also carrying out integration programs for them.
